In HD Meeting, students participating in the meeting can rename themselves. If you’re hosting the HD Meeting, you can control their ability of renaming themselves in the meeting. The steps below will show how to control students ability of renaming themselves on IOS & Android.

Host can control whether meeting participants can rename themselves. Click More in the lower right corner of the Participant panel. If there is a check mark to the left of Allow participants to rename themselves the participants can rename themselves by clicking on their own name in the participant panel. The host can click on Allow participants to rename themselves to disable the feature. When disabled the participants cannot rename themselves.

iOS

A host on an iOS device can disable the Rename feature by clicking on More > Meeting Settings during a meeting. Toggle off Allow Participants to Rename at the bottom of the page. 

Android

Hosts using an Android device can navigate to Meeting Settings while in a meeting to disable Allow Participants to Rename. Click the toggle to turn off the feature.
