Installing Smart Notebook Express at Home

(This will allow you to open and view Smart Notebook files where you don’t have Smart Notebook installed.)

1. Go to: http://express.smarttech.com/#
   (You may be asked to install or update the Adobe Flash Player on your computer. If so, just follow the defaults and close the window once the process is complete.)

2. Click Download Smart Notebook Express Software

3. Scroll down to find the system type you are installing the software to. Click the drop-down arrow, then “Download”.

4. Complete the required fields with your personal information then select “Start Download”.

5. When asked if you want to Run or Save this file, click “Run”. It is a large file, so it may take a few minutes.

6. Once the installation is complete, it will ask if you want to run this software. Click “Run”.

7. Follow the defaults by clicking “Next”, “I accept the terms in the license agreement”, “Next”, and “Finish”.

8. You will now be able to open and view Smart Notebook files in Smart Notebook Express.
